Bitvavo Account Connection

To activate and automatically rebalance your index portfolio, you need to connect your Bitvavo account to your LunaVector account.

Through this connection, transactions can only be executed within your Bitvavo account. It is technically impossible to withdraw crypto assets or money from your Bitvavo account via this connection. This remains exclusively under your control at all times.

To establish the connection, a unique verification is required: the API key. You can create this key in your Bitvavo account and then enter it into your LunaVector account.

Prerequisites: Enable 2FA First

For security purposes, two-factor authentication (2FA) must be enabled on your Bitvavo account to create an API key.

1. Add API Key

  1. Log in to your Bitvavo account (desktop or tablet recommended)
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner
  3. Click on “API”
  4. On the page itself, click the button “Request new API Key”

2. Generate API Key

You will now see a screen with several settings for the API key.
